Soursop, also known as Graviola or “Mundenge”, is the fruit of Annona muricata, a type of tree native to tropical regions of Africa.

Although most research is currently limited to test-tube studies, some studies have found that soursop could potentially help eliminate cancer cells. In addition to its antioxidant properties, some studies show that soursop may contain potent antibacterial properties as well and Soursop has been shown to help regulate blood sugar levels

Preparation:

To prepare the perfect herbal tea of Soursop leaf tea, start by boiling filtered freshwater, then preheat the cup or pot that you will use to soak the tea before adding a teaspoonful per person – or more depending on the force required. Then, introduce the boiled water into the soaking pot before covering and leave at least 5 to 10 minutes, steep for as long as necessary.

“Mundenge” , It is usually cultivated for its medicinal use in Africa . The leaves have different ethnomedical uses according to their country of origin. The most important uses in traditional medicine, scientifically validated in pre-clinical tests, are for inflammation, pain, infections, diabetes and cancer.
